Pop-up restaurants are nothing new. Set up in gallery spaces, private flats, alleyway’s and the like, they’ve become preferred dinning for the more adventurous eater among us. But never before has that pop-up been a structured unit, specifically designed for travel and giving eaters views never before thought possible. Ok, well there are food trucks, but that’s a different post. Today we’re look at a brilliant innovation from the folks at Electrolux. The appliance manufacturer has created a traveling pop-up restaurant unit called “The Cube” and installed it atop the Parc du Cinquantenaire arch in Brussels. The Cube will travel through out Europe over this coming summer making stops to feed curious eaters along the way.
