We are all familiar with the fetish for Rhodia or Moleskine notepads, especially in the agency world. I’d venture as far as saying that Rhodia says “creative”, Moleskine says “strategist”, but maybe I read too much into this stuff….anyhow, both brands have over the last few years become as ubiquitous as red framed spectacles are amongst budding architects. So it was with great relief that I discovered a new competitor in this analogue world. Enter Gridbook, a book handily designed for ‘digital’ (even using that phrase make me feel analog) creatives so they can sketch out web designs, storyboards, banner ads etc. It’s interesting that in a digital world many creative continue to prefer the pen and paper over the stylus and tablet.
