SUBSEQUENT TO COMPLETING A COMMERCE DEGREE FROM UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY, SEAN BEGAN HIS ADVERTISING CAREER AS AN ACCOUNT PLANNER IN SYDNEY WORKING ON SEVERAL SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGNS FOR SAMSUNG, HANKOOK TYRES AND QUILTON.
IN 2007, SEAN JOINED NAKED COMMUNICATIONS, SYDNEY AND BECAME PART OF THEIR CONSULTANCY, NAKED BREAKFAST. IN THIS ROLE, HE WORKED ON CHEERIOS CEREAL, PROMOTED JOHNNIE WALKER'S SPONSORSHIP OF AUSTRALIAN CRICKET AND HELPED EMBED THE SMIRNOFF BRAND IN SYDNEY'S UNDERGROUND MUSIC CULTURE.
IN 2008, HE RELOCATED TO LONDON WHERE HE JOINED TEAM NOKIA AT LOWE WORLDWIDE. AS GLOBAL STRATEGIC PLANNER HE WORKED DIRECTLY WITH NOKIA INNOVATION TEAMS ON NEW PRODUCT CONCEPTS, SEGMENTATION CONSTRUCTS, IDENTIFYING NEW CONSUMER GROUPS FOR NOKIA MUSIC DIVISION PLUS SEVERAL OTHER KEY ASSIGNMENTS.
CURRENTLY, SEAN IS BASED IN LOWE BANGKOK AS THE REGIONAL PLANNER ON THE WALLS ICE CREAM ASIA PORTFOLIO INCLUDING BRANDS CORNETTO, MAGNUM AND FRUTTARE. AS PART OF THE LOWE COUNSEL TEAM, SEAN PROVIDES AN 'EASTERN' OUTPOST ON GLOBAL TREND INTELLIGENCE AND ASSISTS IN VARIOUS RESEARCH INITIATIVES FOR THE LOWE GLOBAL NETWORK.
HE ALSO HOLDS A MASTERS DEGREE (ADVANCED MARKETING/ MARKET RESEARCH) FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA.
